Description
Cord making was a typical woman’s job in those days, here they told it was cord making for holding cotton dresses, underwear and other kind of clothes together, and they used this wooden disk.
I’ve found a Japanese way of cord making, similar on what they’re doing here, called “kumihimo” I don’t know who was first, but thinking of the old culture of Japan, they will win in my humble opinion.
Have a great fantastic day and thanks for your support and kind comments on my previous postings. Also thanks to everyone who added my work as a favorite.

I'll bet on the Japanese too! Still, the medieval version is fascinating! Another wonderful capture!
