Description

When I took this shot, I expected it to come out impressive, compared to the real view of place I took it in. It actually, surpassed my expectations... I'm actually very proud of this shot that I decided to make it my desktop background! This place is no jungle, it's just a part of a public garden with a filthy pond, usually neglected garden, and REALLY old trees.... It's an ancient garden that's been there for more than 200 years now... it's a miracle it's still so well sustained. It has a small waterfall, some huge trees, a filthy pond where birds used to swim, and some remains of an old building, maybe Roman! I'll be posting more of this garden :) Tell me what you think... I really hope you like it as much as I do!

A cracking capture, Nahla. I can feel the steamy heat from here. The, old building is intriguing. There is an old Roman fort, near to where I was born. It was excavated when I was a bit older, and is in the middle of Strathclyde Park. This has Olympic rowing and sailing facilities, as well as a Theme Park with various rides, a mini-Amazonian forest, and some very tame swans and ducks.. ;O) Warm regards, John.

It is beautiful! To think it is this old and still captures the imagination about it. I cannot wait to see the rest of this place. Excellent work, Nahla.

It does have a feel for the exotic and tropical... such an outstanding pov. Wonderful lighting at the far end and the water is so well defined by the lush growth.

Just goes to show ya if you look hard enough you can find beauty just about anyware. If this place is as bad as you say, they should hire you to make up flyers for people to visit, they would get thousands visiting before the word got around and people stopped showing up, and then they would have enough money to fix the place up.
