I am feeling hurt by friends here on the net. Not you my friends of Rendo, but elsewhere. Things was said to friends of mine and it hurt me too. The song says how I feel. Thus my muse is gone. I will be silent now. Hugs

Oh Antoinette I am so sad to hear of your sadness and hurt. I can't image anyone saying something so hurtful to you, you do so much for people. So I will say consider the source and don't pay any attention to them, for whatever the reason, they have to problem not you. I know it doesn't take away the hurt and I wish I had the power to rid you of it. So sad people just can't be nice to one another.

This image is very illustrative of that natural side-effect of life. You know the old saying that goes with it, any trial that doesn't kill you, can only make you stronger. Hurt is the current state of the world - we certainly need to learn the duck and water method - you know it - like water off of a duck's back? Yep, consider all the reasons why something may have happened and then, take from it what's worth taking and leave what not worthy to carry. Life goes on!

On a positive note, you have used your emotions to create a moving piece of artwork. People are ignorant and hurt one another verbally. Here's what I suggest and worked for me over 20 years ago. I empower you with the following my dear. When someone verbally hurts you or others, allow a "little" anger to make you stern and with authority tell the person, "your remark is unacceptable". You can also add, "I don’t claim your comment"! I hurt when I accept the comment even if it isn't true. By commenting back you don't accept the comment or saying someone's behavior is unacceptable, it puts you back in control. Once you try this habitually and realize it works, you can gain your own inner peace. It is so hard to argue back with a person who says "you are unacceptable". Most stutter after that or simply throw back a profane word. If you get that; you know for sure they have been schooled!
