Description
Ah, night falls on All Hallow's Eve and with it brings light to our festive fiends.
Now all was completed, save for some tasks, to scare trick or treater's, with or without masks.
Our good friend the Reaper, and his Headless Hessian friend, watched out under the warning tower, for those who attend.
And within our alcove, dark and confined, we waited, delighted, for our guests to arrive.

Taken just after sunset, the clouds obscuring just enough of the pre-evening light to make the shadow casts fantastic and gloomy.
You see our friend the Reaper arch and our Hessian Horseman. Above them a tower that warned our treat seeking guests of the doom that awaited them.

Awesome capture my love! Looks like you got this one at just the right time, the sky looks great with our display! And the lighting is right to pick up on some of the items that get lost in full darkness, but dim enough that the lighted items start to stand out! Great job! And yes, if anyone's wondering, we did have to rush out in the middle of the night drag in some of the display elements we had already taken down and put in the backyard as those clouds decided to burst. Thank the gods that it waited till AFTER our fun was done! (Great, she's got me rhyming now too)

Halloween is cool... somethings you just got to let go - lol... I know whose gallery to be watching a month before Halloween next year - lol ...it's great to see someone just loves an event - You make Halloween that much more special for the rest of us... I think this is cool... I'm one of those people that hate seeing christmas stuff before Halloween... I can tell you this, this is new to me seeing Halloween stuff and Thanksgiving is almost here... Thanksgiving is the holiday that comes and goes without great fan fare - BUT - it's known for the best feast - thanksgiving is the bomb for that.... what did you eat at Halloween? Candy? Bet ya had a stomach ache - lol
