Beautiful shot!! Cats are like that they love to be the center of attention when you least want them... Mine usually takes over the newspaper when I'm reading it. And I agree with LBJ2, I Trust them more than people...

Cats! Just when you think you're going to be able to do something, they come right out and sit on whatever it is you're focusing on, or worse yet...they decide to play with it and chew the ends of it! I guess that's why I love cats so much, they really just don't care! This is a beautiful capture, and I love the intensity in those eyes. I've known a few black cats in my life and the one thing I can say about them it that they're among the most playful, friendly creatures around. I've also learned why they're considered "bad luck." They're impossible to see in the dark, and you will undoubtedly trip over one...THIS is the real reason why they shouldn't cross your path, they simply have no idea that you can't see in the dark! And the bad luck part of it is not so much bad luck as the sad look of wounded dignity they give you, thus making you feel guilty for a week.
