AlooooooHa!
Ventured into the back room studio tonight to play with my lights since they have been sitting around collecting dust. I used two strobes, a crap load of incense, a black background, and a lot of shots to come up with this. Burning 3 sticks of incense at a time and sitting in a closed windless room can get you pretty high in no time.....whew~
I added the color in PS to bring it out some...Still playing around with the settings, so it will be awhile till I can get this wired...till then you will be my little guinea pigs..

This sure is a beautiful blue dragon!! I've never tried to shoot smoke, but now you've got my interest peeked!! I really like the shape it took on, it's mesmerizing!!! Yes, the holidays are approaching fast. I still remember my favorite Thanksgiving, a luau on Maui, what an incredible memory it holds for me... Aloha to you my friend... ;-)

Fantastic picture. I smoke cigarettes (unfortunately) and I'm constantly watching the smoke, I've taken plenty of pictures of it myself, but I won't be posting them here, I have a cheap camera - lol, plus I choose to leave the photography to the pros (you)... I am excited to see what you come up with, If you smoke, try and blow a ring - that would be an awesome shot and I know you could do it. ... Remember a couple months back I asked you if I could use a few of your volcano picture? well, My story finally made it to Hell - lol... tonight I was blending your pictures and thinking of you... I should be posting a picture soon and I'll tell everyone to check out those killer shots you took... Be interesting if you can tell the breaks and blends in the pictures... I'll site mail you as soon as it's posted, just a little longer, and then you'll have to start following my story to see how the background comes out... None of your pictures will look exactly how you did them, so it aught to be fun for you to look at.
