Description

Hi there. This morning I look out my window - the forecast did not lie. My little daughter watched the snowflakes (about 10mm diameter) and her eyes were glimmering. Now it´s raining, but they say there will be more snow on the afternoon and weekend. Lets see. Thanks for all the kind words on my last two images and have all a nice weekend.

I just love snow though we very rarely get it this far south. A lovely capture and so recent, I can imagine looking out of the window. Thanks for sharing.

We are not so cold. The mountain ski resorts just north of me are hurting - no snow yet and usually they are opening this weekend for the season. Lovely shot and it has me recalling those special mornings when I'd wake to find a blanket of sparkling snow on the front lawn...and hear my dad curse a blue streak that he had to drive to work in it! LOL

The capture of snow falling combined with the preservation of focus and light for the background elements really makes this a great photo- certainly one you could use as a picture for holiday greetings cards even!
