Finally got access to some of my files, esp. the settings of the program Artmatic, which I use to create these extra-ordinary flowers and many others. I will have to make a lot of them all over again, but uhm... I am not that sad.
I do have a very fast computer now, so I won't have to wait that long as I used to. This Macbook is a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo-processor, 4GB RAM, 120GB HDD etc etc etc. The other one was a iMac 2.1GHz PPC which had a short circuit and passed away. One of the privileges is that I am 'finally' able to use Windows Vista on a small partition of the hard disk, so I can do some experiments with the fractal programs most of you use.
Above my newest creation, a chestnut this time; rather a branch of it. The tree itself is too big for this gallery. Hope you enjoy admiring it as much as I do.

Hi Sheyenne, good to know about your new computer. I've moaned he loss of more than a few dozen beautiful images I created throughout the decades. So, I guess, welcome to the club. If this teaches you to keep some three or four trustworthy backup files, it will have been worth it. Great image, as always.
