Description

The Teatro Tomas Terry was built in Cienfuegos, Central Cuba, between 1887 and 1889. Seen from outside, its architecture seems quite simple and not especially interesting. But if you enter, a wonderful dream comes true... This collage really deserves to be seen in full size. Comments welcome.

If you enjoy this image, you should be interested by my first one which shows the ceiling, with the painting of Camilo Salaya. It was extremely difficult to capture this ceiling and it needed me a patient postwork, but really it deserves your attention:

Teatro Tomas Terry, Cuba, 118 degrees without distortion

Techdata: Nikon D70 with Sigma 4-5.6/10-20 at shortest focal length (103 degrees diagonal angle), two-thirds of a second at f/6.3 (manual exposure setting) for the bottom picture, hand-held camera, ISO 800 (of course in this situation you cannot use flash, and with a more recent and higher level SLR such as a Nikon D3 or D700, or a Canon EOS5D, you would get a better image). Perspective correction, enhancement of dark tones and collage in Photoshop CS3 Extended.

My next post will be in the Poser section and will concern the very beautiful character Olivia G2.
