Description

It's a sculpture made in a stone i got in a river. Made by hand with a steel chisel. The form of that stone remembered me the form of my father's face and i tried to get it by memory...

A super piece of work! You have not done it justice in this photo, try another pic maybe outside with grass as a background, or against a plain contrasting wall, or with the depth of field separating the work from the background.

why does this remind me so very much to the face i have drawn and posted today, ??? the ever so calming and peaceful mood it has, yet there is this look, like far away, inside or outside. this is remarkable, beautiful, makes one look and look, like into water, introspective, warm and tender. i love it, ana, how could i oversee this, i have to revisit your gallery soon to check if i missed some other gems :)))))
