Description

I tried to recreate a photograph of FFP on the following link: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=176961&Start=73&Sectionid=8&WhatsNew=Yes Did some work on the roots, with the plant editor. Used different tiling on the roots. This one took 30 min to render on a 1.7 MHhz system.

A good composition! The cross-roots in the water are a little "funny".

A very nice image! I like shadow and light, and the atmospherics. And it is softer than the photograph, and I like that too ;-) [...I guess we should have roots for the trees long time ago and make them a standard option.]

I like the atmosphere this image creates. It looks at first glance very peacfull and relaxing, but to my mind, there is also a touch of menace and foreboding to this forest. I think it must be those roots. Very good work.
