Description

Well, I'm not really happy with it, but I worked on it so long, I thought I'd get it out of my system. (that is to say, 'dump it on you guys') At least then I can stop fooling with it and move on. It's an xenodream construct that I tried to put some color on. Never did figure out how the color application works, or how the lighting kept overriding the color. Joseph hasn't gotten to those in class yet. I exported an xd preset background to paintshop, layered on a seaweed fractal from apo 2.06 3D, took it back to xd and rendered the xd critter onto that image, then put a different apophysis seaweed on top of that image. ....it should be a really cool way of building images when I get it all figured out. Check out joefraq's latest xd posts and imagine the possibilities.

I love the organic quality of this fractal, the object in the center looks like a shell and a plant at the same time, very nice work:)

A seamless blending of programs! I am glad you shared it with us. I love how the seaweed edges reach in while the spiral creature reaches out. Thanks! :)

Amazing 3D feel! I feel like I'm underwater looking up at a wooden structure floating in the water.
