Description

Hi all. This shot was taken at 4150 metres on a ridge at Annapurna base camp in the Nepali Himalayas looking east. The snowcapped mountain in the background is Gandharba Chuli-6249m, and the rubble strewn glacier (the south Annapurna glacier) in the valley on the left is about 200 metres below camera point, though a photo doesn't always convey the sheer scale of the scene to when you are actually standing there in front of it.
