this was a tourist store before. I have been in it several years ago. this was the better part of what is left thanks for viewing and any comments

very sad to see the distruction of this great city, yakchat carol a friend here lost her house in that storm, i still pray things go well for her and the rest of the community. steve / thanks for sharing richard

Good heavens, if this is the one I am thinking of, I always stopped there for trickets to take back to family and friends. I sure hope this isn't the same one that Bongo Joe used to sit in front of and perform. I have a friend who is still living in a hotel there because the insurance companies are fighting over whether her home was destroyed by the wind or the water! Neither company wants to pay up, meanwhile, she is homeless.

A real reminder of what nature can do to our surroundings and indeed our lives, such devastation for those living there. Terrible to know people are still homeless due to insurance companies arguing. This is an excellent capture Richard, thank you for sharing.
