Description

On an arid planet not unlike our own,a carnivore hunts the shoreline of what was once the bottom of a long-evaporated sea,the fossilized forms of large coral jutting out from the rocky terrain. The carnivore is Monolophasaurus by Dinoraul from Daz3D,posed in DazStudio. The terrains are custom, rendered in a phototexture from cgtextures.com.The coral shapes are a Bryce tree without the leaves, with branches and trunk increased in size to create fattened shapes. The texture is the same as the terrain, combined with a preset rock texture. The sky is a custom, the water a preset swampwater mat. Thanks for viewing and any comments you may leave!

That's a very interesting and creative way to use a tree. Great concept and image.

Outstanding coral trees! The slightly sulphurous atmosphere adds to the implied danger and desolationof the scene. Excellent!

Masterfully created rock formations, Neil. Kudos, much on the creativity and the use of an entirely different object to create them. And the setting for the creature is great.

Love the pose of the dinosaur, love the rock formations, but don't like the grainy look to the image.
