just starting in your gallery, and one thing I notice is that you have a sensitive way of framing your work—it's intimate and gentle. There is grief in the statue, but as your title suggests there's beauty all around it. You've given us a reflective deep pink, and the whole feels like one of those potpourris made to give the universe-in-a-bowl; only this isn't a potpourri but a whole outdoor image. You do these very well. This has poetry & also a painterly feel. Very sensitive work. I'll be back for more...happy new year!
