this leaf has much inner life, Helle. Its veins & points of light are vivid, as are its twists & turns & shadows. And it feels right at home against this wood—which is also filled with points of light and shadow. It reminds me of those insects who dwell on plants of their own color: This leaf has found good 'cover' here! I love your series, every one; they give us a chance to ponder and go deep into a single plant, single element...This one's very alive and very detailed, and has a very painterly feel. (I think it would make a good painting!) Beautiful once again...
