I like those smooth landscapes combined with some few rocky parts. Maybe you could try to assign different surfaces to the smoother and the rockier (?) parts. Somehow like http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1724770&member could work for you as well, but the snow could be sand in you image. I hope you know what I mean... :) Keep it up

The pov captures well the interesting features of your terrain, and the localised surface colouring works on an aesthetic level. A good all round render and a welcome return.
