Description

Hey people hope you all had a great weekend, we had snow!... and I'm glad to find out that my reaction is still one of boyish excitement and not yet one like "this'll affect the roads badly.." even though I knew I had to drive =) I was up pretty early yesterday morning and on opening the curtains was greeted by a white vista of untouched snow, and duly wrapped up and jumped out to take a couple of pics of the house and surrounding fields. This is where I live this year by the way.. it's split into 3 units, the nearest of which is ours (you can just make out my car hiding away to the left). The shot was taken when probably everyone else in the building was still asleep and unaware what awaited them outside... the neighbours built a little snowman next to the driveway a bit later on which is only just melting away now today as the last remnants of yesterday's weather. The smoke coming from the chimney is from the fireplace in my room, to which I promptly retreated after my outdoor endeavours =) In the distance through the gate beneath the sun those two objects are hay bales lying in the snow. A simple documentary of home as winter approaches, nothing too fancy on this one... hope you like it have a great day! Adam

Very neat. Snow is one of those things I don't see much of in So. California...unless I drive to it. Well done.

I like it too. It is uncomfortable to leave that warm bed and get outside before everybody else is up...but the rewards are great...no footprints...no tire tracks. Nice job. I'll keep this in mind when we get out first snow. Bill
