Description

sitting on the railing of my fathers balcony and looking eargerly to the food spread there for all those little ones staying with us in winter. This great tit and his brothers and sisters and even a spotted woodpecker are my fathers great joy. He loves watching them all day and so I thought you might like it too...smile I did a crosshatch filter to it, cause I liked it more this way. Maybe I get the beautiful woodpecker in a shot too, we will see, not easy to do he is very shy. Thanks a lot for all your wonderful comments on my last upload and I hope you had a good start into the week.

Great shot! It's a lot easier to get shots like this if the birds are used to being around humans and they get fed on a daily basis.

Wonderful capture. I too love the birds. The woodpecker lets me take many really bad photos of him, always hiding. Hehe.

Excellent capture. Cute little fella... I guess it is time to get a new bird feeder up on my back deck. Then I'll have an opportunity for a bit of photography out back too :-) Bill
