Description

Thought I'd try out Incendia. (if you've never heard of it, it's an app that lets you make 3D fractals, a bit like XD) Render times are very long,(I aborted this one after about an hour)but I liked the effect I got. The title reflects this :)

Impressive art Steve, well named as the tops seem to be pure shiney metal and the bases convert to a textured dust like substance. Also a big thanks goes out for your sharing the tip on yet another amazing program to check out and add to our toolset!

The Render times are staggering in Incendia, not sure if they really ever end I don't have the patience but you can save the Render Buffer and start it over where you left off too so that's cool. It's a Rockin program though once you get it a bit figured out, this is Super, well done Peace

This is the second time today I have seen this program in action and I must say, it does produce 3D amazing fractals ! Even though you aborted the render, I think the result is quite special and your title is perfect ! ~Cheers~

Very cool! I did download Incendia & I like its interface, but I can't handle the render times. The author said it once took him an entire month to render one. I stand in front of the microwave for a cup of coffee screaming "Hurry up!!" Other than the render times, its a wonderful program. But I even cheat at Apophysis by 'screen shots' rather than actually rendering some of my flames. Neat work, Steve! ***** ")
