Description
The Sea Grape...
The Sea grape is a spawling shrub to a compact tree according to the "National Audubon Society Field Guide To Florida" book...I just happen to have a copy right here.....sezzzzzz...Sea Grape has purplish clusters of grapes people use in jams....didn't know that...but I do know Sea Grapes are planted along our beaches to try and help prevent beach erosion....they help... but not so much thru 3 hurricanes in 13 months time...our beaches have suffered since...so sad....but glad to see Sea Grape being planted...I think they are so pretty....ohhh and ohhh yeah....they are protected by law....
