Description

Morning all :o) Looks as though finally an end is coming to our housing situation .Long story short ,the back boiler on our heating system has been leaking and the council had to turn the central heating off .The lad who came to fix it reckons he will have trouble sourcing the part needed .Council gaves us 2 little electric heaters to heat the whole house so I kicked off at the liason woman and she is now in a position to offer us 2 properties this week .Hopefully within the next couple of weeks we will be gone from here :o). I`m sat with one of the heaters pointing at me whilst I write this lol :o)..Things will start and get a little crazy from now on ,so bear with me whilst we get sorted out .I will try and catch up as best I can over the coming weeks and hopefully then will be able to settle down into a normal life again . Thanks for taking a look and most of all being such great friends :o)..Take care

It's alright offering electric heaters if they pay the electricity bill, which they wont, I despair of British councils, they are full of complete idiots that have no idea how to run a council in the first place , how thay ever get the job is beyond me????...Glad to hear your finaly going to get an offer mate, one might say it's PIGGIN excellent :)...another comical piggin capture well done!

He has a point about they should pay the electric it seems as those little heaters can pull the juice and must be watched closely. Hope all can be resolved soon for you and your family Mick. These little guys in the photo are great by the way, I love their expressions

I really hope this is GOOD news and that one of the properties is suitable for you Mick, as I said before I was hoping you would be in a new house and settled in for Christmas. Fingers crossed mate, hope it comes to that. If you remember we were having our Bathroom ripped out and replaced with a wet room, they wanted to do that the week before Christmas, I told them sod off till the new year. Christmas is familt=y time and you don't want upsets at that time of year. I really hope things pan out right for you all. Even though I worked for the council for 14 years, I have to agree with Ronnie, most of the workforce are OK and try and do their best, but upper management make the rules, and it got quite frustrating for me on more than one occasion. To the image, a piggin good un I must say. Excellent capture, trinkets and nick knacks like these are best shot with either a black or white backgound, and black is working a treat for these. It gives them that little extra punch and makes them really stand out. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

Oh, I DO hope it works out and you'll be moved soon! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. In the meanwhile, I guess you and June will just have to bundle up together to conserve heat. ;) Love the dark background. It makes these figurines really pop!

Mick, this is good news. At least you won't be shivering through the winter. Your recent bout with illness would be a concern otherwise. Life can be such a struggle but one thing I've noticed that when all the luck runs out of the egg timer, someone or something comes along to turn the glass over and give you another 3 minutes. :-) This is a great shot of this figurine and so appropriate for those who have made it so difficult for you up until now.

Another great image and shot Mick, I agree with PD154, I hope the council are helping with the cost of panel heaters, they are so expensive to run though I am sure you will be settled in your new home soon, good luck and keep us updated.
