Description

The Imperial Earth Cruisers Warhammer, Bloodaxe and Execution on patrol in a disputed sector of space - which is anywhere as far as the Empire are concerned. In Space Girls mythos the Earth Empire are like a rather more fascist version of the British Empire of the Victorian era - a small group of people out to conquer and dominate everything they come across. Ships built in TS4, rendered and textured in Bryce. Thanks for looking Iain

Wow! I'm glad I came across this; the ship design is fantastic...there's a sense of realism here in that they resemble submarines rather than something exotic and ultimately unworkable. The whole render is great and I love the mood here; there's a sense of anticipation that I like as well. Great work, and I'm glad I discovered your gallery, I'll definitely be visiting again and browsing.

Must be a tough neighborhood if the Empire has to send in three Cruisers. Let us hope that the Space Girls stay clear.

Man, I can see this as stock footage now..... The ship models don't move in front of the painted, light-studded backdrop but the camera dollies to the right to give the illusion of movement. Then the scene cuts to the interior, as the crew speaks with lip movements that don't quite match their voices....

I like the idea of the submarine design for the battleships. Not only for practicality and structure, but has that Star Trek 2: Wrath of Khan feel to it. Especially the battle sequences.
