personally I'm not a fan of the crop, I think he'd have been better either in a square crop or on the other side of the frme.. but you caught a good moody look with mystery added by only one eye being visible... a good portrait, nice lighting

Terrific mood! Like Adam I think it might be a better composition if he were on the left. BUT I understand why you have placed him 'leaving' the frame, it is full of suggestions of a subtext.
