Description

...did I ever mention I love moss? As a child I took it home together with some stones and cones and created my own minature garden with it and till this day I love the look, the feeling and the texture of moss. So this moss on the roof of my neighbors garage catched my eye...again covered with snow now. So moss it is again for today and tomorrow there will be another one...smile Thanks a lot for taking a peek and for all your wonderful comments and favs on my tree moss.

Very nice capture Ulla. There's something comfortable about moss...it softens the surroundings. Bill

That's a nice shot, I just can't wait to see your tomorrow's posting! I loved moss too when I was a li'l child... then I switched to cars, just toys for the beginning, then real ones! One time I had four cars around my home, and my friends were asking me why I keep so many cars... the answer was simple: which one starts first, that one I gonna drive it that day!

Oh, moss is such a world all its own! There is no need for larger things, it grows on a grand scale in such a small space. Love all the colors, too. Nice reminder of what is getting nourished under that snow! Stay warm.

Stellar lighting helps bring out the colors and textures in this shot of the roof and your beloved moss, Ulla!

I like moss to a certain extent, it's OK in the woods along the tops of walls, but I could not have a garage roof covered in it. I would have to clean it off, I used to have a large patch of it on the back lawn. The back is North facing and the sub never shines on the area where the moss grew. I had to dig up the lawn and make it into a patio area, I still have to jet it off twice a year though. I must admit that this image does look nice, especially with the tiles undulating like that, it gives the impression of rolling hills. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
