To look beyond appearances is one of the most interesting and thought provoking things that we can do. At first glance, things may look a certain way because that is what we are accustomed to seeing. However, upon closer inspection, things are not always as they appear to be. Appearances are facts and facts are always changing. If one were to glance at this image, one might see some colors and forms that are in a nice arrangement. However, looking a little closer, one might see the beginnings of a transformation that is both mystical and perhaps metaphysical. When I look into this image, I see a face that is looking to the right. There is a wonderful headdress on this mystical being. Where this being originated is unknown to us, but what we do know is that they have within them a magic that is as old as time itself. For me, this image displays the essence of the Shaman Spirit. The colors and light are ever so striking. The colors and light flow in, around and through the forms and are wafting all about moving in a dance like rhythm that ignites the soul to greater heights. The face is painted in shades of lavender and blue and the eye is a pale blue that sees through time and space itself. It would seem that the eye is looking into the future and viewing a time that is yet to come. The hair is like the flowing mane of a horse. It moves freely and electrically across time and space. Now that is what I see. Perhaps you will see something else. So today... just for today... we shall allow ourselves to look beyond the appearances in our lives. Today... just for today... we shall be open at the top. Today... just for today... we shall allow our minds to flow freely through time itself. Today... just for today... we shall allow ourselves to be in between the moments of time where one can see beyond that which we know and beyond the appearance of time and space itself. It may not be a vision... it may be more of a feeling. Whatever it is, we will recognize it and know that it is our most precious treasure that is yet to come. How grand and glorious we are. How beautiful and energetic our true nature is. All of these things move through our beingness in the mere blink of an eye. They caress our soul heart and change our very nature of being. How divine. How simply divine. Our thought for the day is: 'If I could just be, where would I find myself? I am, therefore I can be.'
