Description
This was a barrel of fun to do and is for Kimmo who is known as (gizmee) and is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. A while back Kimmo was kind enough to show me support when I needed it most and I am proud to say we became friends. He has a great sense of humor and always makes me laugh at the comments he will add to his images. Speaking of his art it is simply stunning and he is one of those people who like a Frazetta has a style all his own. Kimmo, his brother llka and their friends Mika and lllpo all dreamed of being secret agents when they were little. They made their own walkie talkies out of blocks of wood, a black magic marker and used nails for the antennas. In a forest near their home they found what was left of a old house and made it into their headquarters. It was mostly what was left of the porch leading into the house but to them it was amazing. This is the story of one of their adventures in their HQ, I hope you enjoy.

Agent Kimmo Vs The Bloody Avenger: One day Agent Kimmo and his friends went to their headquarters and were shocked to discover someone had broken in. It was obviously the work of some evil genius as they had written a note in blood challenging the secret agents. The boys were excited and this was the coolest thing ever, It was even signed (The Bloody Avenger). Well this Bloody Avenger had messed with the wrong Secret Agents because the boys began taking turns staying there day and night to guard their headquarters. Everyone was a suspect and this was the biggest case of their young careers. After a few days Kimmo was watching as Mika's older sister showed up because he had always had a crush on her. Thinking no one was around she dropped a note on the floor and ran out. Much to his horror, Kimmo examined the note only to realize that Mika's sister was the dreaded Bloody Avenger. The young Secret Agents had solved their first case, and the rest as they say is history.

delightful, dave, one of your most delightful. We all had secret societies like this one, so we can all relate. But you've depicted it with wonderful discoveries & details: A cabin with what looks like lumber-planks & bits of broken wood quietly strewn across the floor (you don't 'emphasize' these things, you just let them 'be'...), actual tree-trunks sitting inside the cabin (love that!), cracks & shadows in the walls, etc...you really are a storyteller with all these bits & pieces...And again, your complex depiction of the kids: No one is just 'standing', they're caught in the middle of actions, reflections, surprises; the hands express it, the leaning postures, the unkempt hair of Kimmo, and so on. (You even show belt buttons, shirt logos, crumpled pants' legs and the like...) Also, nice feel of his sister peering in what looks like nighttime or a dark portion of the forest during the day: Either way it has the fairy-tale quality of a 'big deep forest' of our childhoods...It's another of your humanly-rich paintings of childhood joys, filled with all the skewed things we faintly remember but which bring us back immediately (looks like you put an old box of nails or matches on the table—the minute we see that, it brings us back to our childhood); and with your usual expressions of childhood surprise & joy. You just keep doing these, and they're wonderful; another piece of childhood revelation from you...

Such a great story and a fun picture! Love all your characters and their expressions. Fabulous details and great colors. Love the note posted on the wall and how secret is spelled with two Es. Love the big sister peeking in through the window to see the results of her letter to the kids. The wood texture on the table is terrific and the club house is really cool. A really humerous and well made picture! :)

This is a very cool story. I guess as kids we all played something or other. Be it a super hero, cops and robbers, batman, etc. This image is too cute and I am sure Gizmee will like it. I agree, he is a very nice person and always leaves wonderful comments that are appreciated. Great image!
