I haven't jacked around with this shot... It is how it looked..makes me wish I could paint. Thank you for your comments and add of "Leafy Abstract"....went out to take more pics of it today and wow it's amazing how quickly it turned brown from yesterday.

Painting, like photography is all about seeing...you can use canvas, photographic paper, or a digital medium, but you're still working with the cones of the human retina, and so...yeah, you can paint! And you do so fantastically. I love the cast of sunlight. Though you've not included the sun itself in this picture, it's there...low to the right, and the drama of the sky above is as enticing and exciting. The eye wanders around this picture as it would in a painting, resting, snagging, or gliding over/around the wealth of textures and colors here. This is superb work!
