Hi Folks I captured this image in the Pilansberg Game Reserve here in South Africa. Africa truly is a continent of harsh elements and tender beauty. I would clasify this scene as the latter. I love how the composition is split into three main parts if you include the water as part of the central section 'into thirds'. I hear about this basic rule of thirds from others but never conciously think I will use it but I have HAD comments like great use of thirds lol. this looks like a prime example! Wonderful capture Carin!
