Sitting with the desert wind Blowing in my face Looking down on our place I can hear thunder Off in the distance I wonder how far away it is How far away you are It moves across me And I feel you in its power I remember us Watching the lighting Listening to the thunder Laying in each others arms Sharing our dreams Of how we were going to change the world I never dreamed You would catch the wind And change my world The way you did When that warm Summer Breeze kicks up I tilt my head back Listen for your voice Praying it is calling me To where ever you are at But it is always just the wind

Very beautiful poem, so sweet yet sad. It shows great emotion, which is something that one must be able to do in order to be a great poet, and you, my friend, are a great poet.
