Description

I looked forward to my little trip to the river today, to visit the swans again. Unfortunately there were only TWO (not two hundred or two thousand, like I had hoped!) swimming in the river. But there were hundreds of mallards and the same ONE Wood Duck there, that is still following his favorite Mallard around. It's the cutest thing how the one wood duck follows that mallard around like its her shadow!! Of course, pictured here is that one sweet Wood Duck. :-) See more about the Swans at the Mississippi! Totally gorgeous duck! I have never seen one except in photos. The markings and colors are just fabulous! Great capture Shari! I don't know what you did but it looks like a painting!
