Description

Modeled and rendered in Max. No post work. I wanted something with a game look for a new backgroud. Thanks for looking and comments most welcome.

Model and texture on the walls looks very good, not in the roof, But lighting... the sky says the sun is in the back, and the shadows are telling the sun is in left... something is wrong with that... Feeling is very likely for me. Good job :) Jose Luis

This is a very cool image. I agree with jlserr about the lighting. That's a really wierd gear looking wheel back there in the left. This is a great scene for a donkey of some sort of character. Keep up the great work.

Maybe the damaged left wall is too smooth, but i like the rest of the image.

I think the only thing I truly dislike about the various forums in Renderosity are the inconsistencies between constructive critique, inaccurate observation, and personal preference. The small amount of light showing in the clouds does not confine the sunlight to that specific area of the sky. The sun can just as easily be on the left side of this beautiful image casting its light into the courtyard and on the least dense clouds in the background causing them to reflect the light. I truly wish people would look before they leap. Byron, there's nothing wrong with this magnificent piece of rendering skill, that couldn't be fixed by the visitation of a more aware bunch of viewers. This is one well laid out, professionally rendered piece of work - you keep them coming my friend, I for one, appreciate both your style and your expertise.

Looks damn fine to me. Maybe a little bit of distressing on the shed roof would take the sharp edge of it. I think the light looks fine.
