To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

All that is old, is new again. The knowledge seems to disappear, and then re-appear ages later. Too bad that we have not the respect for that old knowledge. And interesting that many of the old ways are finding their way into modern technology .. I'm thinking particularily of medicine. I think this blending of old and new is beautiful and mystical. It makes it very clear that what was relevant then is relelvant today, and in such a stunning, breath taking way!

That poem goes perfectly with your artwork. The picture has a magical dream-like quality to it, and it's hard to tell which is the dream, the girl or the tree. It's almost as if they are dreaming each other into reality. I really love it, you did an excellent job.
