Description

Now we are on the downstream side of the bridge looking at the falls. We are at the top of the falls and while not majestic like other falls, they are still impressive in their beauty. We can see more evidence of the power of the water as it flows through the channels it has cut in the rock. Shafts of sunlight streams through the trees, spotlighting parts of the moss-covered rocks and the waterfall itself. One could see groups of fae in the water, enjoying themselves as they shoot over the falls through the various channels in the rocks. Other fae would be climbing or flying back up from the pool below to ride the falls again. And other fae would be resting on the rocks, wathing the ones having fun. They would be chatting among themselves as another group shoots through the channels and sail over the edge of the falls to splash into the pool below. The air would be filled with the laughter and perhaps even screams of delight as they rush towards the water below. (Think of a large slip-n-slide crossed with a rollercoaster) Perhaps on the dryer rocks, a little bit aways from the banks, there would be those cooking fires burning, the soups cooking - the wonderful smells of delicious foods drifting in the air. Some of the fae are wandering over with their bowls and spoons, dipping soup from the pots and settling down to a mid-afternoon meal. Thank you all for the nice and encouraging comments on my previous posts. Have a great weekend Mike

Another great tour shot! Just out of curiosity Mike; how many memory chips did it take to do this whole scenic tour?

Just when I seen all your pictures you've taken of this place, you pull out a masterpiece - I like this scene a lot! No wonder why you went down there with the cammera... I walked through some lite dusted snow this morning and almost took the cammera. Our second snow of the season - a quarter inch the first snow, and now another quarter inch - WOW... We have had a half an inch of snow and it's almost December! Man better get a handle on that global warming thing now!
