Description
This was taken in the Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque, NM. I was so excited, because the giraffe leaned out and was 12 inches from me... in my head I was thinking "touch it or photograph it? touch it or photograph it?" LOL.
I forgot to mention in my previous upload, "Memories of Summer Vacation", the loacation. It was taken in Green Valley, Arizona, (between Tucson and Nogales).
I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Now it's time to put up the Christmas Tree :)

Fine shot of the long and short of it, Melinda! Love the textural design on giraffes. And, I suppose you already know that giraffes have no vocal cords.
