Description
I took this photo of a sunset and messed around with the colors until it looked like something from a dream world. I wrote this poem a few days ago.
Last night I has a strange nightmare, in which I came out victorious, but in the end, I became the nightmare. And then it changed. The sudden change from death and ghosts and magic into a room that looked like my bedroom, but was not my bedroom woke me up... but I kept my eyes closed. I looked around the room with my eyes closed, seeing painted images on the walls, and a person sitting on the floor. That person looked at me as I was looking around, so I waved. It wrapped it's arms around it's knees and put it's head on them. Then the room clouded into the blackness behind my eyelids. I opened my eyes and I was alone in my bedroom.
I thought that after that, it was only appropriate to post this image and poem, the ones that I had created at least two to three days ago.
I see you in my dreams
Always out of reach
Falling into visions
Of when you were near
Strange light out of focus
Caresses your knowing eyes
Reaching deep into the abyss
That is your soul
I reach out yet again
To let you know I'm here
Maybe this time you'll see
The lost one that is I
