I doesn't really work in 3D. Maybe there is a fifth dimension version that is unsolved visually. When reduced to 3 for presentation it might loom.

sweet! Escher is one of my favorite artists, I just bought a calendar at B&N's with his images,lol. This looks great, I can't wait to see the finished image.

Great job. I really had to look at it carefully before I could find where you differed from Escher's optical illusion.
