Description
Getting up early on my day off always made the day last longer. I opened the door to get my morning paper and saw the pretty Drow across the hall, just getting home with her breakfast. We never saw much of each other, because we were on different schedules. So, she smiled and said "Hi" and I said, "Good morning". She invited me over for squirrel fillet and I gulped, unable to come up with a good excuse not to. Accepting her offer, I told S'klar I'd bring the coffee. Getting dressed, I poured two cups of joe and stuffed the last day-old donut in my mouth, because I knew one gamey squirrel wouldn't last me too long.

I wrote a story a long time ago about being the only "normal" person in a building of elves, fairies, ogres and such. I guess this is sort of how I imagined a scene from that story. Made the room. Deception character by IgnisSerpentus

lol, great image and cool pov. As for the squirrel, if she had a few more, maybe she could make a gumbo! lol, yep, I'm cajun and I love squirrel gumbo, but it does take more than one, rofl
