We got our first real snowfall today even though it was only two inches [^__^].
I have a tree in the front yard with these red berries, hmm.... I don't know the name of the tree but anyway the snowfall and the tree seemed like a good seasonal image so I snapped it [^___^]

Maybe a mountain ash tree, excellent capture of the first snow.

It does give an extra dimension to what other wise is almost black and white allowing the mind to accept the brown of the trunk. The berries become a sacrifice to dogma.
