Description

Ah, another project nearly complete. I got carried away again... This space station was supposed to have more sections, but the polygon count started to get too high so I scaled it back. I was originally targeting 1M but it looks like it'll be 1.5M, even with the reduced design (the heavy battle cruiser was 2.1M). This thing is designed to look like a (huge) research base. It has a few strange "experiment" type things built into it. It's not a space fortress so it doesn't have many guns - only 32 "medium" turrets - they look like huge guns on the frigate but look tiny here because the station itself is huge. Time to finish up, make a little scene to render, and get this thing into OBJ format for sale...

Unreal! You really did go all out, didn't you? This is incredible. I like the way you are using the common elements of their other ships in this (like the gun turrets from other ships, for instance) it ties them all together, and also implies mass-produced components that are assembled to custom configurations.
