On a very recent Nature programme on UK TV they said they think the birds exchange info about good food kills they have found, and in the morning a bird who has found something worthwhile will take usually 6 more birds with him to share it. They appear to have scores of different 'words ' they use. (Autumnwatch BBC TV)
