In a sea of differences, our beliefs and ideas may be worlds apart, but we all share one thing in common; we're all human.
The recent tragic event in Mumbai was a terrible crime of the highest magnitude against humanity. My offer of sympathy can not fully reconcile the loss the many victims have suffered but my heart bleeds for a country which I once have the privilege of receiving its warm hospitality. I have faith India will persevere and I hope that this tragedy will not deter but strengthen our aspirations for progress to a greater unity for peace among all nations.

Yes, it's such a tragedy that really hits home. My thoughts and prayers go out to the many in Mumbai as well. It's a privilege to see you back with such stunning works you've done. And without a doubt, the creation of the lotus is heartfelt. JB
