Description

our friend efron suggested that we all go back and pick an image from when we first started here an re-do it, to see how much we have advanced. I chose this one at his suggestion (a good one). I didn't change her pose or look. I used some of the filters and layering techniques I've been learning.... along with a couple brushes and lighting effects... the top one is the old one, bottom is the newest. thanks for looking seth

here you can see the development,i mean sometimes i like looking at my "old" scenes -the ones from 05/06/07-2008 because i only joined 3d art in april of 2008,so i am glad when i see my progress step by step, thats encouraging. keep it up my friend, well done and nice idea i will do maybe something like it as remixes or something like that. rene

If I had to pick it would be hard to choose....both, to me, are most excellent Seth ! B*B

both are truly beautiful. the lighting and textures are more realistic on the latter. still, call me a romantic, but i prefer the first one. then again, i am partial to the "porcelain" look ;p hugs Tabz

I, too, find it hard to choose between them. It's a very beautiful image and I really like both versions :) Interesting experiment!

I like them both, they are both beautiful pictures, but if I had to choose, I would say that i like the second the most. I like the golden glow of her skin and the darker scene. I guess that I'm just more of a dark person.

For me the first one is the best because it has a depth of detail throughout the picture including the background. yes the skin is porceline rather than warm, something common in many "first" works, but in this case the surrealism of that white skin gave it a "virgin" look and the white lightning was a perfect compliment to her white skin which really tied the whole works into a single unit. Sorry Seth, not to say you have not progressed, for your recent works have been mind boggling... but perhaps you missed the magic in this piece because you were too close to it. Heathcroft gets on my case every once in a while for the same thing :-)

I love them both but the second one seems to have more depth. great work then and now.

They are both beautiful and have their own unique appeal. The darker one makes her look older and wiser and it gives her character. The lighter one looks younger and more innocent. They are both wonderful though.

I believe that your first (frappe)(kick) at first sight in its dream. But the second seems to absorb more its fears and its thought and the color is hotter with the desire to like its title. Cheer and mile mercies.
