Morning all :o)
Overnight we have had a heavy snowfall and everything looks pristeen and white outside .I love the snow when its just ,laid only it would of been nice if it waited another 22 days till Xmas Eve as its been a few years since we`ve had a white Xmas :o)..
Its amazing what you accumulate over the years ,as we are finding out .Its been quite exciting packing and sorting out ,although we`ve had a few disagreements over what should be kept and what should`nt lol :o)..The loft gets done today ,so that should be fun as I dread to think whats up there from years gone by .I`ve been taking a few shots but have`nt had a chance to look yet .I`ve also knocked the raw shooting off so I`ll be able to post some without to much fuss :o)

Oh,this is exquisite, simply beautiful!! As far as the packing goes, well, have fun--it does take time for the very reasons you mention. Every time I do a big purge, the same thing happens, I find something I just have to sit down and look at, think about. Then it usually just goes back in the box!!

Having done several moves myself Mick I know exactly what you mean, but even now I think about the things I threw out at a time when I thought they were useless. Then I see them on cash in the atic and the antiques road show and think you bloody fool why did you throw yours away all those years ago. You have to laugh cause if you didn't you'd damn well cry. About four inches of snow fell here, every school in Rochdale has been closed and there's up to 20 cm forecast for the next couple of days, the silly weather woman said 20 meters for the Pennines, if that happens all the houses will be buried. Mind you I have seen 12foot drifts but not sixty foot ones. Lol. Superb macro mate more like summer than winter, nice to take the mind to warmer climes. Bravo!!!!! Best of luck with the packing, I'll never do anymore of that.

Oh, my, Mick! at first glance I thought "what a lovely macro" but after looking at it full size I got to say this is nothing short of STELLAR! I adore the pov and the gentle way it pokes at the senses. Every 3 or so years I go through every box, bag and closet and toss out anything I haven't seen or used or looked for in that 3 years. And still, I constantly find things I missed the last time I purged! But I have found, as I age, the things I tuck away are less and less, and the things I once guarded with my life for the memories they brought back, are not as important as they once were.

Great POV, an amazing macro! lol at jeffs comment throwing away things from years ago that are worth a few bob now, done it myself but I can see why there are disagreements on what to keep. hope you got out in the snow, not to be missed!
