Description

We don't have the changing colors of the leaves around here. We have Green and Brown... Alive or Dead. No in between. I was doing some yardwork and was intrigued by the 'dead' zinnias, so I started taking some pictures. So this is picture one in a series of three. My previous upload, "A Long Way Up". I have a lot more photos from the zoo. I'll share a few more later, after I get rid of some of them ;) Have a great day. Hugs, ~Melinda~

Excellent shot; I love the center detail in this. I know what you mean about fall in SoCal--I grew up there. Lack of weather is the major reason I left.

Looking at the thumbnail, I thought it was a strange bird. Whatever it is I like it!

Great Scott, Great Shot! Looks like a partridge in a pear tree! And has seen better days, I figure. As for fall, which is usually a one month period in Southern California, it comes in one color...blah.

We have much the same on this end of the valley. N.CA. is full of changing leaves but in the valley here where the rain hardly ever falls unless it is all at once to flood us out, we only see lush green or "golden bear" as I call it. wonderful macro.
