The Yakima Sports Center is a haunted bar in Yakima Wa. This is the view from the front door. In 2005 one of my closest friends bought this bar. It had been shut down for a few years and was known as a rowdy dive bar/greasy spoon/casino. The upstairs used to be used as a brothel. Many years ago of course. There were 3 people said to have been killed in the building over the years, and who knows what kind of stuff went on in the upstairs. Every person that has worked at The Sports Center has had a paranormal experience of some kind. I personally have seen a chair move about a foot with no one near it. Others have seen shadows walking around without any people in the area. Waitresses have been told to leave by a mysterious voice. One person claims to have been touched while downstairs alone in the supply closet. The ladies bathroom has a lot of activity in there. The sink turns on by itself quite often and the stall doors will open and close. I could go on and on... Since reopening it has been a hot spot for people that love good beer, great food, wine, and live music. If you're ever going through Yakima, Wa. I recommend stopping at the Sports Center.
