Description

This tunnel is part of the road that goes to the old fortress of Deva, Romania (the fortress itself is over 800 yrs old). The hill where the fortress is located, was always a place to retreat and defend when the city was under attack by the barbarian hordes. Many thanks for your comments and ratings on my "Clean Sky"! It is beautiful, you bring life in this image. The colours make me feel as if I am in the mist of that perfectly still, yet full of life particle of Romania. I can imagine horses running through it. What a remarkable shot of history.

Great photo.. superb tunnel they made must be a quiet road and still they preserved the rock and made this tunnel in it or is it just a very thick wall belonging to the castle... ? it should be redone in Poser.. I will one day soon try
