Description

This image is a 3D painting on comission / order. It's what took me back to 3D illustration and i got complete new experiences in workflow. The scene is my client's order for his games product. The basic problem was that he needed for professional printing a resolution of 300 dpi and 60x80 cm.... (ouuuhhh, that kills all ram possibilities, what a bad dream). So i created at first in Bryce a basic background in this resolution, made several changes in PhotoPaint to get the dark bloody firy atmosphere. Then all figures were single rendered in Poser, put on the background and the rest is a lot of FX and painting with Corel Painter. Some of you may think why not to paint the whole scene in 2D if i have the skills. It was a basic wish of my client that all figures looks digitalized, like a scene for gamers.
