My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I love lobelia, partly for the very reason you mentioned, that it blooms forever--and I know just where this is--I saw it up close and personal the other day!!
Susank

Beautiful Image!! Fantastic Shot!!

Thanks for sharing such a bright and refreshing image, beautiful colour enhanced by the superb dof. I myself have deliberately saved most of my summer flower shots to upload on dark and dismal days later into the winter. I will soon sift through them lol.

The sun is shining brightly here at the moment Tara, but there is still plenty of that white stuff about, all the roofs of the houses are still covered. The sun is warm if you stand in front of the window looking out, but very cold if you try and go out to look in. So thank you for this tiny but beautiful flower, that makes me think of summer, and Like Andrea says, I shouldn't wish my life away but like her I wish Spring was here. Excellent capture and a warming image. Bravo!!!!!

Tara, your flower shots and those of others are so sparkling that come springtime, I may have to begin raising something beyond grass and weeds :) Great macro here. Bill

The pov is excellent as is the dof! It brings its own warmth with it making it so enjoyable on a cloudy, damp day like today.
